The adverts in which I have chosen are from: Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the disco and the Lost Prophets. This is because they all fit into the genre in which Paramore are in. Their target audiences are very similar and so is there music and style.
Beginning with the Fall Out Boy advert:
The colours in which are on this advert suit the target audience in which it is set to. The audience being the 'Emo' like stereotypes. The page is quite dark, which adds more attraction from the target audience and the large font allows it to stand out. Like the Lost Prophets advert; this also has the three colours : Red, Black and White. This sticking into the genre in which both are targetting in. The large font also makes it big enough for people to get attracted by it and read on. This advert also gives a lot of information in which helps the audience be aware of the news that the advert is giving.
The Lost Prophets advert:
Like mentioned above, Fall Out Boy does have similar colours used on its advert - this is to emphasise the target audience in which they are both targetted to. The logo is large on the advert and this attracts the audience. Not only to who it is targetted to but also to those who are walking past it and get attracted by the size of the logo. If they're a fan, then they'd know this logo and intend to go forward to it and read it and even if they're not a fan, they'll most likely still approach it because of its size. The font is also large; this being similar to the logo. It's always the biggest things which catch the eyes first. This also gives a fair amount of information.
Lastly, the Panic! At the disco advert is different to both the Lost Prophets and the Fall Out Boy one. Panic! at the disco's advert is rather colourful. Unlike the others. Even though this band is similar in the style of Paramore, it has a different sense of style. Instead of dark colours, it's quite light. Big bold fancy letters allow it to stand out. This also gives out a fair amount of information.
