Blog 12 - Health and Safety.

In this blog, I will be explaining about the health and safety in which we need to be aware of whilst creating our music video. Otherwise, somebody could end up seriously injured and this is not what is intended to happen.

Firstly, Whilst filming, we have to make sure that we do not disturb others that may be in the location in which we are filming. For example, when singing in the town or using a cafe, we need to inform them and make sure that it is okay to film that particular scene without ending up upsetting those around us because of disturbance. For example; When filming outside Costa, We asked permission from those who worked in the cafe to see if we could use the tables and the cafe for filming.

Secondly, Do not place bags and the camera equipment in the way of pedestrians. This could cause serious danger for those who walk past. Whether they trip or fall over them. This could cause danger towards them. So we need to ensure that the equipment and bags are put in a place in which they will not cause any harm to others.

Thirdly, Do not put the camera in a really busy street where crowds may bump into it. Not only can this cause danger to them, but it can also cause damage to the camera and equipment themselves.

Next, We need to ensure that we are in a safe area where there are no risks to us or the cast members. This involves stuff like vehicles, buildings constructions and anything else in which may result in dangering ourselves.

We also ban any liquids around the electrical equipment. Including the camera and the equipment in the recording studio. This way there isn't any danger in getting any electrical accidents or malfunctioning or worse, a fire.

We also need to make sure that we put leads in a safe place when using, so that people are not able to trip over them.

And Lastly, no messing about whilst using the camera/props or in the locations we are using which could cause danger.
